Concept Art: Super Mario Odyssey

I happened to notice that the Japanese Twitter account for Super Mario Odyssey has begun sharing concept art of the game. Odyssey is a big inspiration for me as both a consumer and a designer, because of its charming cast of characters; colourful and diverse environments; satisfying, enjoyable platforming movement and a soundtrack that balances catchy music with atmospheric ambience. 

The concept art that has been shared by the account gives me a good idea of how I want to present my own concept art - particularly of my environments, but also character sheets and even promotional imagery - and how I can translate a cartoon-y, simplistic style through the medium of digital painting.

They have also begun sharing some of their 3D models and rigged animations which I found interesting as a side note. Links of all relevant posts (as of Feb 15th) included below.
