I used a list randomiser to shuffle the environment themes I talked about in my last post, from this I chose pairs of words to come up with some different environment themes. I created some quick mood boards based on these word concepts - these were my basis for thumbnails.
Below are the thumbnails I drew. I tried to draw then quickly and not get hung up on details, instead I wanted to ensure the themes were communicated as well as possible using only 4 tones. I looked at a blog post here that describes a quick thumbnailing process.
Environments are completely unknown territory for me so I'd like to try looking at other environment art, maybe do some studies, before I create my proper pieces.
